Helen Group is a business entity whose structure consists of subsidiaries and associated companies. The Group's parent company is Helsingin Energia.

The subsidiaries of Helsingin Energia belonging to the Helen Group are Helen Sähköverkko Oy, responsible for electricity transmission and distribution in the Helsinki region, Mitox Oy, responsible for producing energy metering services for energy and real estate companies, the hydropower company Oy Mankala Ab, the real estate company Kiinteistö Oy Helsingin Sähkötalo, responsible for Helsingin Energia's Main Building, Sähkötalo and Suomen Energia-Urakointi Oy, a service company specialised in electronic urban services. Furthermore, Helsingin Energia has associated companies and owns power assets in different companies, both directly and through Oy Mankala Ab.

Helsingin Energia in brief

As one of the largest energy companies in Finland, Helsingin Energia supplies electric energy to about 400,000 customers in Finland and covers more than 90 percent of the heat demand of the capital city with district heat. Helsingin Energia produces and sells district cooling, which is considerably expanding in Helsinki.

Among the services provided by Helsingin Energia are the design, projecting and maintenance of energy production and distribution systems. Helsingin Energia is also responsible for the outdoor lighting systems in Helsinki.
