Power plants located in Helsinki
Helsingin Energia is produce energy in the company’s own power plants. Five of the power plants are located in Helsinki and three in the province of Kymi. In addition to the power plants, we also produce district heat in heating plants, when necessary: we have a total of nine heating plants in various parts of Helsinki.
Our power plants located in Helsinki are CHP plants producing electricity, heat and district cooling. The efficiency of the power plants is very high.
