As a customer of Helsingin Energia, you are entitled to the following customer benefits. You will get other benefits too, depending on whether you are an electricity sales or district heat customer.
Information on the selection and use of electrical appliances, and consumption figures of electrical appliances
You can get versatile information on electrical appliances in the form of leaflets and directions for use from our Energy Advisory Centre free of charge. The Energy Advisory Centre also serves the customers living outside the capital city by telephone and email.

Our Customer Service is available for all our customers regardless of their places of residence. The price of a phone call from a landline connection to a telephone number starting with 010 is 8.21 c/call + 5.9 c/minute and from a mobile phone connection 8.21 c/call + 16.9 c/minute.
Customer magazine Helen
You will find the latest news from the field of energy in our customer magazine Helen. The magazine comes out four times a year.
Borrowing an electricity meter
You can borrow a surface temperature, moisture, consumption and light meter, as well as a wall scanner from Helsingin Energia.
Sävel Plus reporting
In Sävel Plus reporting, you can monitor the energy usage of your home or company even on an hourly basis.

Online services
The online services enable you to monitor your invoicing and to browse data on your readings and consumption. Register as an online user.
Energy-saving home visit
An energy expert from Helsingin Energia can now visit customers' homes.

Sävel reporting service
Sävel reporting service (joint reporting on electricity, heat and water) for electricity sales customers, is possibility to monitor the consumption of electricity, heat and water in the building.
Plussa points from electricity
You will start to accrue Plussa points as soon as you have informed us of the number of your Plussa card. Points accrue from the sale price of electricity including VAT.
MyHome Insurance
All household customers of Helsingin Energia will receive 20 % discount from Pohjola MyHome Insurance for the first term of insurance. The customer benefit is valid until the end of 2011, and it applies to all family members. You will receive the benefit by showing your bill from Helsingin Energia at the OP-Pohjola Group bureau.
Electricity accident insurance coverage
Helsingin Energia insures all of its household customers against electricity accidents. This customer benefit covers all family members.
Monitoring report on electricity consumption
You will receive a monitoring report on your electricity consumption once a year. It will be attached to your electricity bill. The report will be useful in the planning of rational energy use.
Electric heater exchange service
You can order electric heater exchange service from Helsingin Energia. The service comprises the replacement of old electric heaters with new and high-standard electric heaters. The installation will be carried out by a cooperation partner of Helsingin Energia
Benefits for district heat customers
Consumption report and consumption forecast
You will find the consumption data on your building in our monthly and annual reports which can be examined through our online reporting service. The numbers of the consumption site and meter required by the service are found in your latest district heating bill. The real data based on readings are available at the end of each even month after the balancing bill has been completed. For example, the real consumption data on January and February can be viewed at the end of April.
You can see your future heating costs in a consumption forecast on our reporting service. Early in the autumn, the data is updated for the following year.
Correct use of district heat
When you use the heating equipment correctly, you save energy, and there is no need to compromise over residential comfort. At the same time, you save heat and money. Finnish Energy Industries has published a brochure entitled Correct Use of District Heat, which contains directions for the use of district heat.
