Site management was developed

The heat operations development unit is responsible for the development tasks related to the district heating and district cooling business. During the year, maintenance and order on buildings sites, as well as on-site information, were under scrutiny. The target is to increase smooth operation of building sites and improve on-site information. Rapid and high-standard implementation of construction work in a demanding urban environment requires professional skills and experience. The development work has started well with interest groups and constructors, and it will continue.

In the general planning of heat and cooling activities, the challenges of the developing urban structure to the distribution network were attended to, especially with respect to annexed areas. There was active preparation for the certification of HelenDistrictHeat's environmental management system last year. Transfer of expertise is especially topical in the internal development work of heat and cooling operations.
