Helsingin Energia produces and sells electricity throughout the country and covers more than 90 per cent of the heat demand of the capital city with district heat.
The design, projecting and maintenance of our energy production and distribution systems are part of our operations. We produce and sell district heating and district cooling. We are responsible for outdoor lighting in Helsinki and offer services in energy metering, data communications and information technology. Our places of business are located in various parts of Helsinki.
In 2007, Helsingin Energia’s turnover amounted to EUR 622 million. We had 1,245 employees at the end of the year.
