Sami Rautiainen, System Manager
Sami Rautiainen joined Helsingin Energia in 2005, and he has held his current task as leader of the Purchase Invoice Services team in the Finance unit for about a year.
In his work, Sami is involved in the development and support of various financial platforms and accounting systems. His job description also includes writing various monthly reports and memos.
Sami is a qualified Bachelor of Business Administration, graduated from the Degree Programme in Business Information Technology at the Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences.

Kari Taivainen’s career choice is pure chance
Kari Taivainen, who works at HelenService, will spend the next few years working on the dismantling project of the Hanasaari A power plant.
Kari qualified as Precision Mechanic from vocational school, after which he graduated from technical college. He joined Helsingin Energia about ten years ago as substitute for boiler foreman. In this work, he became familiar with various power plants.
Currently, Kari is responsible for producing maintenance services in the Hanasaari area and is also in charge of the dismantling project of the Hanasaari A power plant. His previous tasks have included various design and procurement projects.
