Green Net Finland network of members is growing – Helen Ltd joins as a member

The Green Net Finland network of members is growing as a significant development actor in the energy sector, Helen Ltd, joins as a member.  Helen Ltd is one of Finland’s largest energy groups, and its energy production has been awarded as the most efficient in the world.

Green Net Finland’s board of directors discussed and approved the membership application of Helen Ltd in its first meeting of 2016.

‘The common goal of Green Net Finland and Helen Ltd to achieve an energy-efficient and low-carbon urban environment provides a fruitful basis for cooperation. We are delighted that a significant key ac-tor such as Helen will join our network of members. Helen Ltd aims to achieve 100% carbon neutrality in energy production. These are exactly the types of key actors, equipped with an ambitious goal, we want as our members, taking part in our activities to develop an energy-efficient and low-carbon urban environment,’ explains Green Net Finland’s Managing Director Suvi Häkämies.

‘We decided to join Green Net Finland in order to keep abreast of developments in cleantech projects. I believe that through Green Net Finland we will have the chance of carrying out interesting cooperation in partnership with the forerunners in the field. Through our membership, we will have an even better chance of doing our bit to make the world a slightly better place,’ says Project Director Atte Kallio of Helen Ltd.
