Terms for Suvilahti designated panels
Designated panel, prices and terms from valid from 20 March 2019
Designated panels are intended for customers who have an electricity contract with Helen Ltd. If a customer does not have an electricity contract with Helen, this is set up separately.
The contract and prices remain in force until further notice. The contract may be terminated by giving two weeks’ notice. The prices are inclusive of VAT and correspond to the public price list valid at any given time.
For a monthly price, a customer receives the output of a single panel. The value of the panel’s electricity output is deducted from the customer’s monthly charge in accordance with the price of Helen’s Exchange Electricity product in force. The nominal output of a single panel is 285 W at the Suvilahti and Kivikko power plants and 315 W at the Messukeskus Expo and Convention Centre power plant. The output of a panel varies with weather conditions. The estimated annual output of a single panel at the Suvilahti and Kivikko plants is about 230 kWh and at the Messukeskus plant about 280 kWh. The output is certified with guarantees of origin.
Price: The price of solar electricity from a designated panel consists of a monthly charge of EUR 4.40 / month inclusive of VAT at 24% (EUR 3.55 / month VAT 0%). The value of the panel’s electricity output is deducted from the price in accordance with the price of Helen’s Exchange Electricity product in force, including the product’s margin (1 June 2015, €0.24/kWh). The monthly charge of the Exchange Electricity product is not part of the deduction.
Delivery and billing
The billing of the designated panel and compensation for production is ready with immediate effect at the Suvilahti and Kivikko solar power plants. In the case of the Messukeskus plant, the billing and compensation will start on the completion of the solar plant. The billing and compensation take place in conjunction with the billing for the customer’s actual electricity contract.

Right to cancel under consumer protection act
Under the Consumer Protection Act, the customer has the right to cancel a contract within 14 days. The cancellation deadline is 14 days after the contract has been signed. To exercise the right to cancel, customers must give notice [name, cancelled product, address of place of use, number of place of use, and, if available, telephone number and email address] of their decision to cancel the contract in an unambiguous manner (e.g. by letter or email).
The customer may also use the cancellation form, but this is not compulsory. To comply with the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for the customer to send the notice of the intention to exercise the right to cancel within the cancellation period.
Effects of cancellation
When we have received the notice of cancellation, the contract is terminated, and the panel is not billed nor the output credited.
