Tax Manager

We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to strengthen our Group Finance and Control team.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing tax-related matters across Helen Group companies and for driving the development and improvement of tax-related processes and systems. We are looking for a professional with strong expertise in corporate taxation and tax reporting. This is a new role which offers an excellent opportunity for career development and deepening your expertise across multiple areas of taxation.

You will be responsible for overseeing tax matters for companies within the Helen Group. You will ensure accurate tax reporting and high-quality disclosures in our financial statements, while leading the development of tax reporting processes, internal controls, and system implementations. You will also participate in annual preparation of corporate income tax returns and review the tax calculations. In addition to strong corporate income tax expertise, you will support the company in other special tax matters including VAT, property tax and withholding tax.

To success in this role, you have practical experience with IFRS, FAS and CIT differences. You have proven skills in corporate taxation and tax reporting. You are committed to continuous learning and contribute to shared goals. You have a good communication skills and documentation skills both in English and Finnish and you are comfortable working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholder. We expect you to have a master’s degree in finance or law comparable with focus on tax and at least five years’ relevant work experience. Experience in leading tax-related projects, implementing systems, or working in a group structure is considered an asset.
