New price period for district heat begins

Update 28.12.2016: The amount of excise duty for district heat rises 1.1.2017 and the district heat energy fee for winter period 1 January – 28 February 2017 will be 61,86 e/MWh (incl. 24% VAT).

The energy fee covers variable costs related to heat production and distribution. Fuel prices have risen from the considerably low level in summer 2016, which is reflected in the energy fee for the winter period. District heat water flow fees will remain at the current level in the new year.
