The price of exchange electricity can rise quickly, especially on cold days with peak consumption. If you want to protect yourself against price spikes and fix the price of your exchange electricity for the winter or another period of your choice, we have several options for this.
You can fix the price of electricity for a fixed period, choose a more stable option based on the market price or choose a flexible contract that is valid until further notice. If you wish, you can change your contract quickly – your new contract will come into effect in just three days for a service fee. You can change the contract to come into effect 14 days later free of charge.

- The contract expires automatically – you will receive a follow-up offer from us before your contract period ends

Market Price Electricity
- Suitable for fixing the price for any period – change when it suits you best
- The price is determined for one month at a time according to the price on the Nasdaq OMX Commodities electricity exchange – a stable price with no hour-specific surprises
- Valid until further notice

How to easily fix the price of your contract
Choose the right electricity contract for you

Select the additional services you want for your contract
You can choose the Renewable or Carbon-free additional service for your price fixing agreement to change your agreement to electricity produced with renewable energy sources or nuclear power.
Specify the start date of your fixing agreement in the calendar
The contract can be changed flexibly. You can set your new contract to commence at any time, but at the earliest three days later. In the ordering phase, select your preferred start date of the new contract from the calendar.
Changing your contract is free of charge if you choose to start your new contract in 14 days at the earliest. If, on the other hand, you want your new contract to enter into force faster, we will charge a service fee of €5.90 for the express exchange.

Your Fixed-term Basic Electricity 6-month contract expires automatically after the contract period. You will receive a follow-up offer from us in good time before your contract expires. If your contract is Basic Electricity or Market Price Electricity, you can flexibly switch back to Exchange Electricity at any time.
