With renewable or carbon-free electricity, you switch your electricity contract's energy origin to renewable electricity produced by the sun, water and wind or electricity produced by nuclear power. The Renewable or Carbon-free additional service is available for all new or existing electricity contracts with Helen.

Renewable is an additional service that enables you to update the origin of energy in your electricity contract to energy produced from renewable energy sources. With the Renewable additional service, your electricity is produced as a combination of 100% renewable hydro, wind and solar power with guarantees of origin. The price of the additional service consists of the monthly basic fee, the energy price of the guarantees of origin and the margin.
The contract is valid until further notice and it can be terminated with 14 days’ notice. The additional service can be purchased for any Helen electricity contract in which the origin of the electricity is mixed electricity.

Carbon-free is an additional service that enables you to update the origin of energy in your electricity contract to energy produced from nuclear power. With the Carbon-free additional service, your electricity is produced with 100% nuclear power with guarantees of origin. The price of the additional service consists of the monthly basic fee, the energy price of the guarantees of origin and the margin.
The contract is valid until further notice and it can be terminated with 14 days’ notice. The additional service can be purchased for any Helen electricity contract in which the origin of the electricity is mixed electricity.
Next, you will be asked to verify your identity using your online banking credentials or mobile certificate. By verifying your identity, you confirm invoicing as the payment method. The service will be invoiced retrospectively based on your actual energy consumption.
