Helen Ltd is a company owned by the City of Helsinki and its administration is based on the Limited Liability Companies Act, the articles of association and the group policy of the City of Helsinki. Helen’s core business consists of the production and sale of heat and cooling to consumer and business customers, the production and sale of electricity to the wholesale markets, the sale of electricity to consumer and business customers, and electricity transmission. In addition, we provide our customers with solutions for regional and renewable energy and electric transport.
Helen Electricity Network Ltd focuses on grid activities in line with the Electricity Market Act, providing electricity distribution services that cover nearly the entire capital region.
Oy Mankala Ab is a production company that owns the hydropower plants of Mankala, Ahvenkoski, Klåsarö and Ediskoski along the Kymi river.
