Helen’s year 2025
The year 2025 was historic for Helen. The company ended its decades long use of coal, and its annual emissions halved. During the year, Helen became the market leader in electricity retail sales as Väre Ltd joined the Group. In addition, the company advanced its nuclear energy programme and continued working towards its target of phasing out combustion based energy production by 2040.

Helen discontinued the use of coal and reduced its emissions significantly. The change strengthened the long term transition towards cleaner energy production.

The transition away from fossil based energy production progressed as planned. The completion of wind farms and the increase in electric boiler capacity brought the change into practice.

Helen’s profitability improved while revenue decreased from the previous year. The low market price of electricity limited profit development, but a stable financial position provides good conditions for future investments.
