Summary of contract terms

Carbon-free Energy is an additional service contract that updates the electricity delivered on the basis of Helen's electricity contract to be 100% nuclear power. The origin of the electricity supplied according to the contract is verified in accordance with the European Guarantee of Origin system.

1. VALIDITY AND TERMINATION OF THE CONTRACT

Carbon-free Energy is valid until further notice. The Customer has the right to terminate the contract with a 14-day period of notice and Helen has the right to terminate the contract with a 30-day period of notice. Helen has the right to revoke the additional service contract if the Customer has substantially violated its contractual payment obligations or contractual obligations and the violation has not been rectified within a reasonable amount of time specified in writing by Helen. The Carbon-free Energy additional service contract does not replace the Customer's actual electricity contract. At the end of the Customer's electricity contract, the additional service contract also expires.

2. PRICE OF THE ADDITIONAL SERVICE AND APPLYING THE DATA IN INVOICING

The current monthly fee for the Carbon-free Energy additional service at the time, as well as the price of energy (c/kWh), are invoiced in connection with the electricity bill.

3. AMENDMENTS TO TERMS OF CONTRACT AND PRICES

The impact on the contract price as a result of changes in taxes, public charges and other fees comparable to them is taken into account immediately when they enter into force. The service provider shall notify the customer of their impact on pricing as soon as it becomes aware of the change.

The price and terms of contract of Carbon-free Energy are valid until further notice. The price valid at any given time is available at the address helen.fi/renewable-energy-and-carbon-free-energy. Helen has the right to change the prices by notifying the customer of them 14- days before the change takes place at the address helen.fi/renewable-energy-and-carbon-free-energy.

Helen may amend the terms of contract by notifying the customer of the changes 14- days before they enter into force. Helen reserves the right to notify of these changes primarily by email or text message or, alternatively, the notification can be sent to the customer's invoicing address.

4. OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Carbon-free Energy additional service contract can be made for a business customer. This contract is primarily governed by these terms, followed by the terms of electricity sales for Helen’s business contracts, and after that by the general terms of electricity sales and supply effective at the time.
