The name of the Environmental Penny add-on service is changing

The name of Environmental Penny is changing. Going forward, the add-on service will be called Investment Penny. The new name will be gradually updated across our channels and customer communications.

The terms and conditions remain unchanged. The change only affects the name of the service and requires no action from you.

How Investment Penny works

  • You pay €1.73 per month (incl. 25.5% VAT) for the Investment Penny through your electricity bill.
  • We double the amount you pay each month and deposit it into the Investment Penny account. This means you accumulate €3.46 in the account every month.
  • The funds in the Investment Penny account are used to support renewable energy solutions.
  • By subscribing to the Investment Penny, 1,000 kWh of your electricity per year will be wind-powered – about half the annual consumption of a two-room apartment in an apartment building.
