Juha Keski-Karhu appointed as Executive Vice President in charge of Customers and Services at Helen

Helen Ltd has appointed Juha Keski-Karhu as Executive Vice President, Customers and Services, and as a member of the Helen Group Executive Management Team. Keski-Karhu will assume the position on 10 August, as the current head of the business, Anu-Elina Hintsa, moves on to new opportunities outside Helen.

Keski-Karhu has over 25 years of experience in development and leadership roles in the energy sector, including portfolio management and electricity retail. He previously served as CEO of Väre Ltd, which joined Helen this spring, from the company’s establishment.

“Juha Keski-Karhu built Väre into a truly customer-oriented company and a successful player in Finland’s electricity retail market. We are delighted to bring his extensive expertise in the energy market and customer leadership to the Helen Executive Management Team. Under Juha’s leadership, we aim to take our customer care to the next level,” says Olli Sirkka, CEO of Helen.

“Electricity is becoming an increasingly integral part of our daily lives and business operations. I am pleased to work towards ensuring that our customers across Finland have access to the best possible products and services in this area,” says Keski-Karhu.

Keski-Karhu moves into his new position from his role as Senior Vice President in charge of Helen’s electricity production. As a member of the Helen Group Executive Management Team, he will report to CEO Olli Sirkka. The recruitment process for his successor as head of electricity production will begin immediately.

Anu-Elina Hintsa, who is leaving Helen, will continue to lead the Customers and Services business until Keski-Karhu’s appointment takes effect.

“I would like to thank Anu-Elina for her significant contribution to developing Helen’s electricity sales. Under her leadership, Helen has grown into the market leader in electricity retail,” says Sirkka.
