Consumption Electricity is an electricity contract which is valid until further notice and an easy and carefree choice for all homes. Consumption Electricity is especially suitable for those living in an apartment. Consumption Electricity is our supply obligation* product, which is only intended for customers within the scope of the supply obligation.
An easy and carefree electricity contract for your home
Consumption Electricity is an electricity contract which is valid until further notice and has a steady price. However, the price of energy in the Consumption Electricity contract may change if there are significant changes in the electricity market. We announce any price changes well in advance, at least one month before the new price enters into force. The contract is valid until further notice with a two-week period of notice.
Who can buy the Consumption Electricity contract?
Consumption Electricity is an electricity contract available to consumers and corporate customers within the scope of Helen’s supply obligation*. We always check that the customer is entitled to conclude a Käyttösähkö contract. If it turns out that the conditions of customership are not met, we reserve the right to terminate the contract.
(*Supply obligation refers to a location within the distribution area of the Helen Electricity Network, Raasepori Energy's electricity network, Savon Voima, Kuopio Energy, Naantali Energy, Kymenlaakso Electricity, Lappeenranta Energy, Tampere Electricity Network, or Alva Electricity Network, with annual electricity consumption of no more than 100,000 kWh per year and a maximum main fuse of 3 x 63 A.)
Contract information
- Electricity contract subject to the supply obligation.
- Contract valid until further notice with a notice period of 14 days.
- The price remains steady, taking into account seasonal fluctuations in the electricity market.
- The contract includes the electricity accident insurance cover for your entire family.
- Choose Renewable or Nuclear power as the origin of your electricity if you wish. An amount of electricity corresponding to your consumption is certified with guarantees of origin as produced from renewable energy sources or nuclear power.
- The prices include VAT 25,5.

Helen's delivery obligation product, which can be ordered by customers covered by Helen's supply obligation. The contract is valid until further notice.
Origin of electricity
The origin of the electricity contract without additional services is mixed electricity. The origin of mixed electricity is based on the distribution of electricity production in Finland, from which electricity produced from verified renewable energy sources has been deducted. If you wish, you can choose Renewable or Nuclear Power as the origin for your contract. The electricity corresponding to your consumption will then be certified with guarantees of origin as having been produced from renewable energy sources or nuclear power.
The specific carbon dioxide emissions of mixed electricity are 390.93 g/kWh and the amount of used nuclear fuel is 0.86 mg/kWh. See also the origin and specific emissions of all the electricity we sell.
